Flower Festival Walks Wells Dressing Cycle Trails Lathkill Dale

These three dressings were erected in Monyash during the May bank holiday week in 2009.

The Adult Well Dressing, created by adults, children and some visitors to the village, is a picture of Adam and Eve depicting God's creation of mankind. Money raised at this well was split between Monyash Chapel and Derbyshire, Leicester and Rutland Air Ambulance.

The Junior Well Dressing celebrates the life and work of Charles Darwin on the 200th anniversary of his birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of Origin of the Species. It depicts the Beagle off the shores of the Galapagos Islands.

The Infant Well Dressing 'Save the Bees' drew attention to the endangered bee population in the UK .

The money raised from the two children's wells was donated to Derbyshire WildlifeTrust
